Rob Humphreys Works with Tim Fagan, Performs with Emel Mathlouthi and More
Rob Humphreys (Drums B.M., '11) is a recent graduate booking gigs left and right. He has performed with Hollywood Records' ZZ Ward, America's Got Talent finalist Taylor Matthews, and Star Search winner Jake Simpson. He also plays in For the Record, a series of The Show at Barre, which occurs regularly at Rockwell Lounge/ Barre Vermont in Los Feliz. A 360 degree live theatrical concert and dining experience, For the Record celebrates the soundtracks of modern motion picture masters. The series performed several shows at SXSW, and occurs four to six nights a week at Rockwell Lounge in Los Feliz behind the restaurant Barre Vermont.
In addition to his busy schedule at Rockwell Lounge, Rob is performing in the band for the theatrical piece Why We Have a Body, at the Edgemar Theater by The Rainbow Theater Company. The show stars Tanna Federick and three-time Emmy Winner Barbara Bain. Rob is currently recording an EP for an original organ trio, Organ Freeman, which includes friends from Musicians Institute and also recently appeared at the LA Tunisian Film Festival with Tunisian sensation Emel Mathlouthi. He is currently working with GRAMMY Award-winning songwriter Tim Fagan and regularly performs with independent artists Sidney Thompson, Danni Rosner and Ryan Dilmore as well.
